I think a lot of people assume that if you're emo, you're either gay or bisexual.

I can see where people are getting this idea. The same thing happens with anything from religion to various other sub cultures around the world and it's all due to a lack of education (on the accusers part).

Some people think Christians molest young boys because 80 year old Catholic priests, who devote their whole life to solitude and a complete deprivation of sexual pleasure realize that maybe that wasn't the life they really wanted and let 80 years of sexual deprivation come out on the first person they see. Because both Christianity and Catholicism talk about God, people assume there all connected. So as a result of the actions of a Catholic priest, a Christian pastor is now thought of as someone who might molest a kid.

Or even Islam for example. Most people think it's a crazy religion that makes people go nuts killing people or killing themselves in the name of Islam but really, it's quite the opposite. Islam is actually quite a peaceful religion that does not promote violence or killing. It's the radicals who claim to be a part of that religion that tarnish the name of Islam and gives the world the impression there all out of their minds.

My point is, most people I've ever run into or talked with believe the majority of emo kids are either gay or bisexual. Why? Well it is really associated with emo culture. It's part of the whole "rebellious" aspect of emo or the original "non-conformist" attitude. Basically telling everyone or everything that is telling you to do something or be someone to fuck off. A lot of the time emo kids who claim to be gay or bisexual are really just rebelling and experimenting however, not saying that there are not legitimate homosexuals or bisexuals in the emo community (or people in the emo community who are sure of their sexual orientation rather).

I am simply saying for those wondering why people call you gay when you're not, it's because you're emo and the rest of the world thinks were all gay or bisexual and that were all a bunch of pussies.

well as im only like 13 and a half i cant confirm just yet if im gay bi-sexual or straight. but for now im straight..i cant see how any one can have anything against gays it doesnt change who they are.
and i hate how people say god hates fags and that its totally not true though most christians/catholic or whateva dont except them ive asked one of my christian studies teachers and she said that god doesnt hate gays they're just like every1 else...
