The Official - Panic At The Disco Thread

by Tantlized Soul on 07-03-2008 10:17 pm

They have some goos songs andsome sucky songs. I generally like them.

I hated the video fo "Nine in the afternoon". Thee song was tolerable but the video was creepy as hell.

"Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking of her clothes" is an awesome song and they are badass because the title is 'unessecarilly long' .

They have good songs but they honestly suck live. They are like Fall Out Boy live. SUCKYYY!!!

Sorry if that was offensive to some people.

I like their first cd better than their 2nd. Today, when I was walking home from school I realized that their second album was made to sell, not to touch people's hearts. :[ I sorta like Pretty.Odd but I'm pissed old Panic! is gone.
Also I am very angry that they ditched the !. I loved that thing.
It's raining, it's pouring, he's no longer adoring. I'll lay in bed, bag on my head, and hope to die by morning.

It's the exact opposite actually. Their first album was made to sell. That's why it had major hits on it. Do you see Nine In the Afternoon on VH1 top 20? No.

Oh well who cares what people say. Panic is a great band. It's the quality of music that counts and frankly, I say their music is awesome. Both old and new.

I liked a Fever you can't sweat out way better than Pretty. Odd. I mean Pretty. Odd. is way more musical but I liked the topics and dark style of the old Panic! At the Disco. The one that god famous with I Write Sins Not Tradgedies. Not so much with Nine In the Afternoon.

really? I felt that way because on PO the music sounds more pop-mainstream ish. A lot of my friends didn't like the old cd because it was too "weird", but that kind of music just attracts me more. :]

I liked the old Panic! when they still had their upbeat, dance sound better. As one review said, in Pretty. Odd. there was just no panic and no disco. However, their new sound did grow on me, and I still appreciate the music. I guess they needed a drastic change or they would just keep repeating old songs. I'll be the first to admit, many of the songs on a "Fever You Can't Sweat Out" weren't all that distinguishable from the next for me. The sound of PATD was distinguishable (and great!) but not the individual songs.

So, Pretty Odd was a good album, but I did like their old sound better. "That Green Gentleman" could be my anthem, I love it so much Wink

=)
