Is it ever okay to ask a person out more than once or tell them you like them more than once (saying over a year or more has passed since the first time you asked them)?
Cause see awhile back i asked one of my friends out and he wasnt interested in me. so we both pursued other people. We never went out or anything.
but this summer we've spent alot more time together( in a group) and been to one another's houses( with a few other people) and just all together gotten closer. We talk more. We hug closer than we used to.
I want to tell him i still have feelings for him, but the timing is so bad because in a month or so he's going to be off at college and unless i go visit him, he wont be able to see me cause he doesnt have a car. Plus, its freaking college!! how many girls do you think are going to be up there for him to pursue!??!?!?!?!?
But i just dunno what I should do.
any thoughts on this please?
I still have feelings for him but it's such bad timing

dood, that's really hard to give advice on...
if you think it can last, then go for it. you might get one of those rare long distance relationships that work.
If you don't think it'll work out, then it's probably best to forget about ever having a serious relationship and stay friends. Don't ruin a good thing.
That's my opinion. I'm bumping this up mainly to see what other people might say in a situation like this.

i'm leaving the site. I like scene kids, but all of us together in one place dulls our uniqueness and defeats the purpose of us being different. Yes, what I'm saying is "you're all the same".

so i saw him yesterday becuase me and two of my other freinds went over to his house to hang out. but when we got there he was totally bummed out because his dad was making him go somewhere with him and he couldn't get the chance to hang out with us. so we hung around his yard for about ten minutes or so, until we had to go, and i gave him the note i had written about my feelings and such, and my friend jodi gave him one too (which supposedly was 12 pages of total randomness) and he gave her a hug, then came over and gave me a hug (and i totally didnt want to let him go). and then we left.
when i got home later i sent a text to his email and was like "so uh i dont know how to bring up what i wrote to you about" and he said " just ask what you have to ask, even if you have to be blunt about it". so i said "what did you think about it?"
he said that it was good that I'd had the courage to put my feelings out there.but he also said he doesnt feel the same way.
so i got my heart broke first thing this morning, literally,
and he said "trust me, one day you will get over me. time heals all wounds. sometimes a lot of time, but still." he also told me it was nothing to be afraid of, telling him so, because he wouldnt be mean about it.
he said he could kinda tell it was coming, he just wasnt sure when.
i asked him did he get mad when i hung all over him and he said no, and that that wasn't even the reason he could tell i liked him.
he said he could always tell by the way i looked at him. but he didnt want to say anything first becuase it was probably touchy territory.
and i told him i didnt want him to forget about me, friendwise, as time goes on, and he said "i'll see what i can do."
do you think this is going to turn out good or bad either way?

Personally, I wouldnt put myself through that.
and mostly I wouldnt put him through that.
If it was really suppose to work out, then it would have.
Yes, the bond is strong, but you dont know for how long.
It could be the first day he gets there, and he finds someone else and you're history.
It's not worth it, and most of all, you might lose him as a friend.
Would you rather have him in your life as a friend or not at all?
That's usually how it works out.
But best of luck.

Awww, that's heartbreaking.
I've been there, I know how it feels.
But you did something some girls will never do.
You took that chance and actually put yourself out there.
That takes guts,
Yes, a broken heart does sort of "heal" over time,
but I dont think you ever really get over guys, I mean yeah, you forget about them but you dont actually move on.
Theres always a little part of them with you.
And that's pretty sweet that he said he could tell the way you loooked at you, shows he was observant or you really were obvious. lol.
But everything will be fine. c:

Well i certainly hope something good comes out of all this. and that even with his "plans to live an exciting life during and after college" (as he puts it) that he won't forget about me.

Yeah, pretty much.
thats what guys do to you..
They go.. "Oh yeah, lets be friends, everything will be fine."
and then they end up never talking to you again..
:c
"Having your boyfriend break up with you, then ask you to still be friends it like your mother telling you your dog died, but you can still keep it."
Its so true.

Hah.
Point proven, even if time made things less akwards and helped the relationship.
But I see your point, it happens most often though.
