there's this post-rock japanese band called mono. not for everyone though. their songs are long-ish and usually relies on atmospheric sounds.

I got this song by X Japan (can't believe they're not int he list?) and I quite like it.

I planned to look a bit more into it, but I don't know where to start to find something I like. Since they are all filed under j-rock it's kinda hard to see what kind of music they are actually playing.
Maybe someone here can help?
