I'm always called a goth by adults!
They don't know the scenes of today and I think all they had where people dressed like "us" was gothic... So that's what they say.

And I don't care what people say, there IS a difference betwene scene and emo. The style may be all scene, but actual SCENE kids dress that way to be noticed, they're in it for the scene, not the music and whatnot. They do it to be popular and have a million friends. The catchphrase for a while was "you have to be scene to be seen".
Aswhere emo kids are really into the music, and don't have as crazy hair and stuff. Scene is just the crazy fashion thing.
BUT ANYways.
Yes I've been called goth. And random people on the street are like "are you goth?". The biggest thing that bugs me about that, isn't that they're saying I look like a goth, but the fact that they have no idea what a goth looks like. I do not dress anywhere near to the gothic fashion.
Last time I checked, goths don't wear faded blue jeans and bright shirts. Also my hair was poofed out and had pink in it. It just...doesn't look gothic at all.

i have been called gothic..mainly by my older brother. oh well theres nothing i could really do. if he doesnt call me gothic he calls me a gothic emo....hes not that clever. *sighs* unfortunely he isnt the only one. some kids at school call me that too.
