Where i live is full of scenesters between the age of (10 and 14) and indie people above 18..
we also have more punks and goths than scene kids.
i haven't seen many emo haters as of yet... here you dress how you want... go out naked and none would care

ha
wowww..very interesting.
i wonder why emos are viewed diff depending on where u live?
maybe it has nothing to do with it?
but if ur an emo and ur getting beat up the people there have some very fucked up views
those that are left in peace, your lucky..
and as for those who EMO is this new fashion look for wannabe losers looking for their 15 mins in the limelight of the"im so original" category.....wow..i think id shoot myself.
if everyone around me was that big of a poser...gah..id scream
hmm..i dunno..its both excessive attention, be it negative or positive.
theyre both equally sickening to me..

In my town, well in my school there are only 3 scene kids, and I'm one of them.
Then we have like all these wanna bee emo/scene kids. We just want to beat the crap out of them.
It's not like people hate "the emo kids" it's just that they're isn't very many of us, so we tend to stick out more.
People just aren't used to us, yet....

I agree with you.
If we want to be our own person, not talk to certain types of people, if we want to wear certain types of clothes, then we should be able to. Without them judging us. Like, we aren't harming them so what the hell is their deal?

yes!
and like
WE the TRUE emos were the ones who even made the style what it is in the first place
but it seems that it has been completely taken over by posers so now its the opposite of the beginning, its as if the posers dominate and the real emos are being beaten down...
