Meeting You

Dreams of happiness are scattered by the winds
I can't believe that I actually thought we could be more than friends
You must have seen me coming from a mile away
I was an easy target for your game....
But a shattered heart was the price I had to play
So easily I fell into your grasp
So quickly you tricked me into thinking this was a love that could last
I would have given anything in the world for that happiness to stay

Then came that one fateful night
You wanted to talk, something wasn't right
So quickly I ran to your house, trouble haunting the air...
That's when I saw you kissing him, and you looked at me like you didn't care

With a million needles of pain, my heat began to tear,
You told me he was your new boyfriend
And that it was long past the time for us to end
You told me not to talk to you...
That you could care less if you had made me blue

Now I try to cope with the pain
But now for some reason, nothing feels the same
Not even punching my wall....
So I sit up here asking myself: "would it be easier just to end it all?"
I step forward, my world fading black from blue
Another life lost...from meeting you

In this world, I am a troubled soul
something in this hurtful darkness is saying "let go"
Surrender my weak light, my source of my pain and my sorrow
Make that weakness into a strength that is dark yet hollow

Alone in this world is how i'll probably live without love & friends
I sit here tortured in this darkness, wishing my life to end
My steps are so close to suicide
I'm finding no reason to continue this life

The chance to live in happiness again is past
and my only thoughts and wishes is for the death of my heart to come fast.
Changing me black from blue, releasing me from my prison of pain
To let me stand again, cold as ice, and hollow through and through

I wish you could read my mind
Just so you could know what it is that I hide.....
There's a love in my heart, but it tears me apart
An undying love for you
It gets me mad to see you so sad
Because it him that makes you blue

I know you've seen me down and asked me what its about
Silence is my answer, I smile to wash away your doubt
but the truth is that I care deeply, but had never asked you out
I try not to let my sorrow be seen
Though I know I could treat you like everything you've ever dreamed...

To me, your happiness matters first & foremost
'tis why i won't burden you with my hearts woes
If its your desire to be with him instead of me
Though it hurts, thats how I want it to be....

I never thought I could be hurt by the truth....
and that is that three true words are what makes me blue

I Love You

Just know that its a hidden love, and that its always been true.

When you look into my eyes, what do you see?
Can you see what i am feeling?
Perhaps you see an image of my heart
Saying my love for you is brighter than the sun & all the stars

My friends know this without any doubt
They ask me: "Why do you care so much, you never asked her out?"

In truth there is a lot to reveal
And you are with him, so i can't make this a big deal.
Just know that I'll be there for you until the end
As I have always done, always as your best friend

Maybe someday, i'll tell you my hearts desire
How it burns with passion, but for now, I drench this fire
Quiet my heart, now and maybe forever
And just call myself your secret admirer
