Poems;;A Collection

This is the most recent poem I wrote. It currently has no title, and I like it that ways.

It is dedicated to Austin Smith. Rest in Pease, fucker :]

There are flowers there,
On the side of the road,
I pass them quite often
And it always seems cold.

The gash in the dirt
makes it all too real,
And we're all quite shocked;
Too numb to feel.

How to react?
We have not a clue.
So we cry and laugh,
Remembering you.

You've touched more than one,
In fact a lot of us care,
But it get's a bit easier
'Cause we know you're right there.

So lets talk about your hair,
Or maybe your smile,
Even your music,
Just to hold us off for a while

Till we remember
That the memories we made
Will be the last ones
Where you run the brigade.

Some pray to God,
Hoping heaven's where you hail.
Others call your phone
To hear your voice mail,

Or they leave you a comment
All about life.
Even though you won't read it,
It lessens the strife.

I know that writing
wasn't really your forte.
That's why I wrote your two spanish papers
In less than a day.
[And might I add,
You received and A]

But I still think that maybe
You would have liked this.
And you know this is my way
To cope with the miss.

So Austin, my friend,
You were one of a kind.
And I can picture you saying,
"That doesn't rhyme."

If Only There Were Time Machines

She's dying right now
And it wasn't even planned
But the cuts were so deep
Blood's all over her hand
And to finish the job
She grabs all the pills
The ones by her bedside
Incase she was ill
They go in her mouth
Swallowed one by one
For each sin she's committed
For every soul she's undone
And she just cries
There's no more pain
But all of her dreams
Have ended in vain
She wanted to be happy
To live a good life
But she didn't know how to
With all of the strife

She died yesterday
Not everyone knows
Her parents are crying
Their hearts filled with woe
They just don't understand
Why they must clean up her mess
And answer so many questions
About her life that was less
They were saving up money
For college, a car
They might have saved her
If they hadn't stopped at the bar
Or if they paid more attention
To the marks on her arms
And if they didn't believe
That they were only just scars

She died last week
Her school mourns in silence
None had ever thought
Of this act of violence
Her friends are sad
Some move on rather quickly
Some stare at her seat
Feeling oh so sickly
If they hadn't pushed her away
Or made fun of her looks
Or glanced at her strangely
And stole all of her books
And the teachers knew
That something wasn't right
When she cried during class
And had no sleep at night
But most just thought
That she wanted attention
Or was playing a game
So she could pass that lesson

She died last month
Her ashes are gone
The charity's money
Only lasted so long
The funeral's over
Family goes back to work
But everyone can see
What really lurks
Sometimes the bus still stops
Honks the horn for school
Then everyone's reminded
And feels so cruel
And sometimes the parents
Still call out her name
But only silence follows
And only tears gain
They would do anything
They miss her so much
To hear her voice
And to just feel her touch.

She died last year
The memory still lingers
And only some still look down
Tears falling on their fingers
The reminders are miniscule
They bring up her presence
Like a substitute teacher
Calling her name for attendance.
And they still blames themselves
Wishing everyday
To take it all back
But forever she’ll lay.

A Girl

She looks into a mirror
And a face stares back.
One she's not proud of,
For beauty she lacks.

She wants to be pretty,
She wants to be loved.
She believes in nothing.
Nothing's above.

Alone in her mind,
Scared and terrified.
She doesn't know what to do.
Or how to get by.

No one seems to understand,
Yet no one even tries.
The ones that do
Fear the look in her eyes.

They all run away.
She's nothing but a freak.
It hurts her inside,
And makes her so weak.

But she must look strong
So people wont ask
What is wrong with her,
And what happened in the past.

Will she ever be loved,
Even by herself?
Will she ever believe
In someone else?

She's tired of being alone,
She's tried of the hate.
She's tired of the emptyness,
And just wants to be

Great

Let Us Cry Red Tears

A tear falls from a young girl's eye
But what does that tear mean?
She goes to school with a smile on her face.
And the tear is long gone.
No one to know the story behind her cries.
No one to know the pain.
How she does she do it?
When she's only a child?

The story behind is tragic.
One filled with confusion.
Such bad coming from who is supposed to care
Why can't she understand that what's happing
Is wrong.
But we can't do anything
Besides wipe the tear away.

A tear falls from a young boy's eye.
But what does that tear mean?
He goes to school, with no one by his side.
Just alone in this big world.
His eyes are closed.
He doesn't want to know why.
Why kids get hugs from their protectors
When he only gets slaps

He doesn't tell anyone.
He's convinced he deserves it.
His tears are filled with innocence,
But that's not what he thinks.
And we can't do anything
Besides wipe the tear away.

Now that young girl is blossoming
She's beautiful and sweet
But to herself she's dirty
And still puts up with the abuse.
She smiles fake smiles
And cries real tears

That tear means more to her
Than anyone could imagine
But there's nothing we can do
Besides wipe the tear away

Now that young boy is growing up
He hates himself more and more every day
And still accepting the abuse
He's alone in this world
That doesn't seem so big
And only lets the tears
When no one's looking

Crying makes him weak
So he's told that is
But there's nothing we can do
Besides wipe the tear away

And now this young boy and girl
Are changing in appearance
Neither like what is happing to their bodies
They find it ugly
They both still put up with the abuse.
But the hurt is just to deep
It's too deep for tears.

But they want to cry
So they let a single red tear fall
Fall right down their arm and onto the floor
It's the same thing as crying
When you really think about it.

But we cant do anything
There's nothing we can do
Because they don't think there will every be
Someone to show them the love they deserve
And just wipe that tear away.
