How much does photoshop cost and where do I get it?

There's a lot of different kinds so you gotta look at what their features are and apply that to how you're going to be using it.
Personally, I'd go with Adobe CS3 just from experience in using it, it's one of the best I've used. Unfortunately it runs at about $650 on Amazon. There are ways to download it for free through the internet, or to get it from a friend. But the problem with that is they figured people would do this, and to keep them from doing that when you install it, it asks you for an access code. I'm pretty sure there's a site out there that generates them for you. My friend got hers for free by doing that, I just can't remember the site.
What I have on my computer came with the laptop. It's not a bad one if you're just going to be doing simple photo editing. You can't use tools or brushes with it, but it lets you change things like the Adaptive Lighting, the contrast/brightness/exposure. You can put different kinds of filters over the pictures too such as: Black and White, Antique, Sepia, Glow, and so on. It's called HP Photosmart Premier, I'm pretty sure you would just be able to get it off of www.downloads.com
You could also try eBay, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, places like that. The only problem your going to face is that with any good photoshop, they can be pretty pricey.

what other ways can you get photoshop? like how many versions are there of it? i say the price online and i almost screamed i am needing something like photoshop to edit some of my photos for vo-tech. there is this compition thing and i chose to do photography. so any help for me?
