Phobias

I have an insane fear of spiders.
An insane fear of dolls, and clowns, and freaky masks.
I get hysterical and karate chop the nurse when she comes near me with a needle.
I'm afraid of criticism and ridicule to the point of panicking and crying.
I'm afraid of other people's blood. It makes me sick.
I'm seriously afraid of knives, especially big ones.
I'm am soo afraid of people grabbing me and of getting attacked or jumped. I'll scream and go ninja on you and collapse on the floor.
I'm scared of other people's hair. Like I have a hard time eating food other people cook and I can't use other people's brushes.
I'm really afraid of the dark and of closets, and it's horrible cuz my bed faces the closet and I freak myself out thinking somethings gonna chop my legs off.
And lastly I'm scared of water so bad that I can't swim.

=) Yeah, I'm somewhat of a wimp! I know. =P

claustrophobia to the point of even the dark is to small if u get wat i mean...

Phobialist.com had a shat load of phobia names but they didn't have all of mine.......and they kept repeating the same ones all down the list, just giving the same ones different names.. but...here's what I'm afraid of:

-belonephobia- Fear of pins and needles. (Aichmophobia)
I'm so very afraid of syringes!!!
-apiphobia- Fear of bees.
this kind of goes along with the above one. I'm afraid of being stung
-automatonophobia- Fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues - anything that falsly represents a sentient being.
manniquens and suits of armor make me extremely uncomfortable!!!
-emetophobia- Fear of vomiting
I really don't like getting sick :/ I never drink till I feel lke I'm gonna throw up, I'll stay far below that level just to make sure I will not get sick...cause fuck that!!! I hate it so much >.<
-Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia- Fear of long words
lol I just thought this one was ridiculous...and I'm very skeptical as to if this is real lol I mean come on..
Nyctohylophobia- Fear of dark wooded areas or of forests at night
I hate the woods at night. I like..I can't even do it lol if I happen to be in the woods and it gets dark, I'll like feel kind of panicky and like freeze up a little. I'll cllose my eyes so I don't have to look into the darkness..it's weird :/

some other things I'm afraid of:
-fear of the unknown, which is the most common fear ever known
-fear of being misunderstood.....I'll think long and hard about ehat I want to say, how I want to express it, IF I want to express it...I'm a very quiet person because of this lol..

I have claustrophobia, I'm also terribly afraid of clowns -thanks to the movie It- , creepy crawly things, heights, and porcelain dolls I have no clue why I think its their eyes they seem to follow you everywhere

hypnophobia(fear of sleep)-i usually read my jthm comic books or listen to music until sleep just sneaks up on me. then i usually wake up a few hours later screaming because of a nightmare i had... im getting better at it though.
i also have a massive bug phobia, any bug even butterflies creep me out. they could be in one place, then when u blink they could be right up in ur face!*shivers* its terrifying...-i just stay inside all day to stay away from them.lol

Don't laugh but stickers scare me. Going to the dentist, as a child, and they try to give you a sticker, I freaked and started to cry. Wax dummies aswell... My dad used to make me go to museums (War ones and the like) and of course there are those dummies everywhere, I still get nightmares about it...

People this is a phobia thread, not a place to list the things you hate... phobia is a fear not a hate of something... well, I guess you could hate it too.

Anyway - Mine are

1. Life
2. Large Crowds (like being not able to move)... yet I still want to be in a mosh pit...
3. Rape, sexual assault (This is my most extreme fear)
4. Being followed
5. My brother (when he's mad)
6. Not making it into my choice college, not making it to graduation, not being able to get a job and support myself
7. Old creepy men
8. Young creepy men
9. Anyone that looks suspicious of a crime...
10. Getting sick (as in puking)
11. Fear of my life taking a turn for the worst, fear of my life getting worse, fear of my life going back to what it was... my old emotional pain (before I made a positive change to my life)
12. Asymmetrical objects
13. Social Anxiety Disorder
14. Making friends
15. Losing friends
16. Returning to my house (after a fight with my parents)
17. The Unknown

Not to be all doctor or whatever, but maybe it could be because you have a fear of nightmares and you don't want to have nightmares so that may be why you fear sleep... I don't know you, so I can't actually tell. But that's just what I think.

I have a Phobia of Wet Grass, I dont know why but it just creeps me out... Ever sense i was a kid and my friend had a pool in his back yard and the grass got wet and i was barefooted it would freak me out i had to run to steps or some place dry and not grass,

I also have a phobia of HAIR! like when im in a bath tub and there is hair floating around OMG! i want to Die... Its like its going to tangle me and drag me under and drown me ): Sooo Sccaarryy.

well...actually i can handle the nightmares. some of them arent as bad as others. mostly its because i have dreams about someone trying to kill me or my loved ones. but im also afraid of waking up alone...so that adds to the stress...thanx for understanding though.

Well, I guess you won't have to worry about the second one considering the first.

Aphenphosmphobia- Fear of being touched.
I don't like being touched in anyway, unless I've grown comfortable with you.
Kakorrhaphiophobia- Fear of failure or defeat.
I'm so sure that I'm going to be the one to let you down.. and I have no idea why.

I have a phobia of EB Probably the most fearful thing ive ever experienced.
