the more you see, the more you are hardened to it, the less it effects you.
if you've ever seen the forum when its been spammed with gorepacks... i hope you've never seen it, i have, and it scarcely registers

I understand that, but just a little bit, people need to see it. They need a reality check - not everything in this world is as perfect as their rosy little lives.

and put how many thousands of people out of work?
why not ban KFC? or any other fast food chain?
who are you to tell people what they can and cant eat?

Any fast food chain, I dont agree with cheap unhealthy food. Make it healthier, fine, advertise more that it isnt good for you, but a bit is ok, yeah. If the chain its-self says thesee things it will impact moree, if the government says it, its just a bunch of words.
Putting people out of work, I couldn't do that, but its my opinion of not endorsing fast food.
I cant say what people can and cant eat, im no-one in this world, but one day i wouldnt mind if i was, for a good reason though. People will still do what they want, no matter what anyone says, so why shouldnt i voice my opinion..?

Yes, I think Peta has gone way to far. I was raised a vegetarian, and am all about animal rights. I support several animal-rights organisations. But this is two far. I have never been able to go the peta website, and I tried reading a couple of their publications, but the pictures are way to brutal, and i'm 16!! Something like that would have absolutely horrified me at that age. I think children do have the right to know what they're eating, Peta should just go about it a different way.

Teach the adults
educate the parents

be warned, chickens die in this video

Link

Jamie's fowl dinners shows the reality of the chicken industry
watch and learn.
it isnt always pleasant
but its better to be educated of the reality, rather than the crap the animal lovers push at you
humans eat meat, its a reality, whether you like it or not.
Its the choices we make as consumers that makes the difference.
Did you know that eating fat animals is bad for you?
Did you know that eating healthy animals is good for you?

You whine about overpopulation and the resources it consumes.
Yet by eating meat you help consume crazy resources.
Hypocrisy is quite a funny thing at times.

I think people should be aware of what is happening to the things they eat but I don't think you should give them the un-happy meals.
I think people should know how their food is treated and it is gruesome but who are they giving it to? How old are the kids? Are they young teens? Are they kids who have seen enough in movies and video games to not be mortified by it? If I were to recieve it when I was 7 I would be devastated. Something I wouldn't want my kid(in the future) or young family members to have to go through. I think they should make kids aware of things like this in a way that's not so harsh, then if they can handle that kind of thing you should show them.

I'm watching the documentary (im guessing thats what its called) In my health class called Super Size Me and its a great visual of how Mc D. has become basicly the stray leaders of the damnation of the United State's obesity rate. Even though I'm on the road all the time, I still don't eat that shit.

sidenote- i love how we're watching a rated R movie in class Very Happy

Well was it the edited video? because i know that they have a school edited one that is expencive and a regular one thats cheeper (obviously) but she couldn't get it ordered in time.. so we have to "pretend" that we dont see the massive pair of breasts in the frame when he's eating his Girl friend's vegan dishes.
yeah, you got to enjoy the little laughs in life.

Earthlings - A documentary made in 2007 about the torture we put animals through simply so they can serve our selfish needs and so we can have slightly more convenient lives.
