I'm not hugely patriotic. Each country should be judged fairly, blind patriotism is a bit stupid I think and can be dangerous.
I like it when GB/England wins medals in the olympics or plays in the soccer/football world cup, but I don't think "Oh wow, England! So great!"
Infact, I'd rather live in America..
I do like England, I'm just not overly patriotic.

Patriotic.
I'm not going to let this country become socialist because of some Anti-American morons who could easily just move to a socialist country.

I like my country.
Of course, there are some things I would like to change, for example our capitalistic goverment, but if you compare to other countries, I think Sweden is pretty good.
I'm proud being able to say that I'm a Swede, but it doesn't mean the world to me. I could easily move to another country and be happy there, but in the end I'll always come back, I think.

America... hmmm.
If wanting to fix the problems in the country instead of running away is patriotic, than I'm Patriotic.

Sane people, fix actual problems
Idiots, get down lick boot at "problems" that only exist because they made them in the first place. Or bitch at a real problem because they made it and are hiding that fact.

Hell, most of them make up excuses that they can't. Maybe they should stop buying status symbols and starbucks everyday, then they could easily move out.

Australia has an extreme like for foreigners and has even stated that if you go to Australia, you be Australian in everyway, no exceptions (or you likely wont ever become a citizen)sparklingcyanide wrote: I'm english, and my family moved to Australia, and i'm glad we did. i still love england, but the shit has really hit the fan in places like England and America. Dude, we have massive anti-immigration laws and we real australians get pissed that 1500 people immigrate to Queensland a week!
Apart from that we don't really take a liking to many foreigners. We like Americans and English people but not Chinese people. We got way too many of those.
