i was reading on how to naturally change hair colour.
if you have done any of these, can you please tell me how long it took and how it worked? Very Happy

-Pure Lemon Juice (& Sunlight)
-Lemon Juice & Water (1/3 Ratio) [+ Sunlight]
-Boil a potato: then brush water onto hair.
-Cranberry Juice & Water [+ Sunlight]

Using diluted chamomile tea as a final rinse also helps lighten hair.
Are there any other natural hair darkeners? I don't really see myself putting tea or cofee in my hair lol.
I find most natural stuff just helps lighten hair.
when the remembering was done,
the forgetting could begin.

I thought henna was only if you wanted like a reddish or purplish tint to hair.
Maybe I'll try it, or just stick to using semi-permanent hair dyes.

I remember something about boiling walnut shells then painting into hair.
here are the first directions I've found.
-get some black walnuts
-boil for about 15-25 minutes
-strain a few times to remove walnut pieces
-make sure not to touch anything with water, as it stains everything. it will take a few days to remove from skin
-remove as much clothing as possible, or put on old clothing you can care less about
-place tape over forehead and neck. then place petroleum jelly on tape
-wear gloves
-apply on hair
-put hair cap on hair, rest for 30 minutes
-remove upside down and rise upside down.
-repeat if not dark enough.

Great tip tzelma.
Lol to me it sounds like more work than normal chemical hair dying.
The other options are just going to the nearest herbal or health food store and buying a vegetable hair dye.
Imo they suck and don't last as long as the permanent chemical.
Yeah, about the henna thing maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

My friend did something like this to her bangs and liked it at first, but then it wouldn't go away.Like she put something in her hair and got in the sunlight and it lightened her hair. THen she decided to go back to her natural colour and it worked, but then a few weeks(i think) later, the light colour came back. Her hair is still light even after trying to dye it.

idk if that helped or just confused you more and i'm not sure if all of that is completely true... so yeah.

Lemon juice + sun is extremely damaging.
It doesn't bleach very much, either. You'll end up with a hair that tangles a ton.
Don't try that (:
