9/11 wasn't caused by bombs. The planes crashed into the WTC. The WTC's steel was coated to protect it from the heat, so it didn't melt, however, after the first plane hit, that coating wore off. The second plane crashed, and since both planes still had fuel in them, and they were surrounded by fire, everything gave. The steel couldn't hold up; it began bending until it toppled over.
