About Me:
My name is Kaleigh. (KAY-lee) I'm 15 years old, and I'm stuck in a little hicktown full of rednecks. People here think that cowboy hats and tractors are high fashion, and they get mad if you point out that Jesus was Jewish.
I have very broad taste in music. I mostly listen to emo bands but I also like punk and opera. I like to sing and act, especially in opera. When I get into character, all my problems go away for just a little while, and I feel like it's just me and the stage. I play the French horn, the piano, and the guitar.
I write a lot of poetry. It's usually very dark and cryptic. Sometimes I have to read it a few times to figure out what I meant when I wrote it.
I only have two real friends, and their names are Zach and Sierra. They are like family to me. It doesn't bother me that I only have two close buddies, because I'd rather have two great pals than a bunch of false ones. Both of them are awesome.
Books are a big part of my life. Everywhere I go I am reading a book. I like horror and romance novels a lot. I watch a lot of movies, mostly horror.
I'm an animal lover. Wolves and bats are my favorite. I have a job at my local museum in the 'Animal Resources Department'. We rehab injured animals and teach the visitors about them. I love the animals, because they accept me as I am. They don't make fun of me for being fat or for cutting. They are just glad to have the company.
As for my religion, I'm not sure if I beleive anything. I've gone back and forth between Christian, Wiccan, and Buddhist...and right now I guess I feel agnostic. If there is a God, then He doesn't seem too interested in me right now.
