What kind of base do you use underneath? A good foundation, powder, and maybe white/skin coloured eyeshadow under the eyeliner really keeps it from smudging. It's also a great base when you use eyeshadow.

but are extensions bad for you or anything?
and how much would it usually cost to get it done

Yes, extensions is a little damaging for your hair. The price all depends on what type of extensions you're getting; human or synthetic hair, wefts, prebonded hair with microrings/glue and so on. First, read a little about extensions and decide what one you want, then it's easier to answer how much it'll cost.

Practice. Keep your eyelid shut until it dries. Place a layer of black shadow over the line to set it.

(I've ignored this thread too long.)

Quite frankly I always thought the overdone liner was not flattering to anyone.

However, achieving it with Asian features is tougher because of how most of the lid is hidden.

Use a base. A dot of foundation or beige liquid shadow (Wet N Wild makes one called MEGAeyes in Champagne Toast.) and put it all over your lid up to your brows. Alow to dry, then line your eyes modestly with liquid liner. Take your dark shadow and put it all over your lid (but NOT much further past your socket! Do not take it clear up to your brow), then blend upwards towards your brow. Take a matte beige powder (face powder will do) and put it under your brow and blend with the dark shadow (to get rid of the sparklies of the MEGAeyes and provide a softer blending line). If you want to blend in another color, put less dark shadow on your lid and 'stripe' the color you want to blend in above it (like the pink on the one chick, but that's photoshopped, for the record) and blend upwards towards your browbone.

Practice this a few times. Invest in a good blending brush and some good shadow.
