Okay, Tony My Father, Or The Sperm Doner, As I Call Him, Signed A Copy Of My Birth Certificate, Put Me On His Tri-Care, And Has Legal Rights Over Me Now. I'm 16 And I'm Living With My Sister, My Mother, Who Has Had Legal Custody Over Me Since I Was Born Let Me Live With My Sister And My Sister Is Going To The Juvenile(Sp?) Court On This Thursday To Get Custody Over Me, All The Papers Are Signed By My Mother And It Is All Legalized. But I Am Wonder How Does Tony Get Rights Over Me By Signing A COPY Of My Birth Certificate?? He Is Military, And My Mother Didn't Even Know He Did It, She Got A Letter In The Mail Today Saying That He Signed It And I'm Off MO State Care, And I'm On Tony's Tri-Care. And My Sister Is Going To Put Me On Her And My Brother-In Laws Tri-Care Because He Is Military Too. And I Don't Know If This Will Interfear(Sp?) With Me Going To School, Because My Mother Had To Sing Papers Letting My Sister Enroll Me. And Now I Don't Know How Tony Signing The Birth Certificate Will Effect Everything.

P.S. I'm Not For Sure If He Has Legal Rights, But If He Didn't, Then How Would I Get On His Tri-Care???

i would get a lawyer. from what i know sperm donors have no custody rights whatsoever, depends on where you live though. Also signing a copy of your birth certificate does absoluetely nothing.
