My weapon(s) of choice:

Been playing guitar for 1 year and a few months or so now and surprised on how far I've come. Began with an Ibanez acoustic shortly after my birthday and been taking lessons(Still am with an awesome instructor) and practicing. Had musical experience for more than 2 years or so so I can read traditional sheet music and tabs. Diving into theory involving chords, arpeggios, scales, and etc. 50/50 on lead and rhythm positions since I jam and help with guitaring with my friends at church(OMG, I GO TO CHURCH?!). Musical preference is rock and metal but open to pretty much anything. Love to broaden my horizons. Overall, I'm not the best but I love guitar and always practice and jam in my spare time. Perhaps joining a band wouldn't be a bad idea?(My friends are always procrastinating on the idea) If anyone is looking, I'm interested.

I've played guitar for.... Seven years now I think?
I prefer playing in C standard, but that's just a preference I've developed because of years of playing with C standard bands and whatnot.

I don't use any overcomplicated gear, some cheap knockoff of a stratocaster, with AXL EMG single coil pickups, and, just because it has built in effects and was cheap, I currently practice with a Fender G-DEC Junior. I use 0.60mm picks, because I hate the way thicker picks force the strings, whereas thinner picks bend around them easier. My favourite time to play in is 7/4, because I love the off-beat feel. I also own a very cheap stock SG copy, which I rarely play. I also own two basses, both Precision basses, one's a peavey, the other's a Stagg.
Having played guitar for so long, I feel I can help with questions and whatnot.
