have you looked into didgichat? The site im a member of uses it. Hauntingechoes and Vampirefreaks do as well maybe that would be something to look into

we had one, it was causing server issues, so flow removed it.
some people made a new one, but it was unofficial, it had no rules, it was not part of eb. essentially, it was just a fan site
