I've been here for a while and some of you may know me. I may even have pissed you off! But that's not my intention.

A bit of background information on me:
My name is Syd, I'm sixteen and I live in London. I love music, art and clothes. I have a strong love of the sixties as well as the seventies. My mind is my own and I will always post my opinion, unfortunately I often do this when it isn't wanted or needed. I spend my time listening to music or designing and creating clothes, I am deeply political and sometimes go into political discussions too often. I'm against capitalism and do my best to avoid it, sadly this is not always possible. My music tastes and dress styles are wide and plentiful, I could easily listen to a Johnny Cash album the whole way through and then put on the Sex Pistols. I find it highly entertaining to be as sarcastic and satirical as possible and I'll often show this in my posts. Don't like it? Don't read them.

I'm not an emo, and I don't tend to stereotype myself, if I did I would be a mod. This is a sixties subculture and it isn't widely known nowadays. I know a lot of you are thinking 'why are you even on here!' and the answer is simple:
I'm bringing a new outlook on things, different from the rest of you. A cat amongst the pigeons? Perhaps. This isn't to say that all of you are the same, it's merely to say that I don't listen to the same music as you or dress the same as you.

Is this not enough. Use this as a Q&A, any questions you have. Anything at all, I'll answer them.

what do you mean, dress the same or listen to the same music? i love emo music and metal and all that shit, but i LOVE cascada and lindsay lohan's voice. i even like some rap.

i am warning you. all that you said down there, what looks like some attempt to show what you are, is a bunch of bullshit and honestly i am all for being yourself but you are not being yourself. you are entertaining yourself with us. be nice, or get out. that is all i am saying. stop or ur gettin banned.

Correct, you are not an animal species to watch and observe, one point to Sally. When I said 'it's merely to say that I don't listen to the same music as you or dress the same as you.' I simply meant I don't listen to emo music or dress emo-ly. Of course I understand that most of you don't simply just do this and although it may have come out the wrong way I did include 'This isn't to say that all of you are the same' so I apologise for the inconvenience.

I am not being insulting and hurtful and if I am, I am not doing this intentionally. I am merely stating my opinion, I don't believe I have ever insulted anyone's look as that wouldn't be much like me. I wouldn't insult other people's creative art either, although I tend to be pedantic and have commented upon someone's spelling once or twice.

I must disagree with your 'honestly i am all for being yourself but you are not being yourself. you are entertaining yourself with us.' statement. How do you know I am not being myself? I could just as easily be like this in real life, could I not? I don't agree with the exploitation of other people and I don't like it when other people lie which is why I often try to stop the two. I am aware I am not wanted here by a large number of members but I like it here. I like the people. Any more questions?

May I ask why you feel its important to bring a new outlook to the forums? I'm not attempting to be condescending though I am aware that my question is phrased rather negatively.

Listen, i am all for sharing opinions and having your own thoughts and views, You have every right to be here, its a free website. You seem to be ego-tistical and arrogant, the people on this website join to be undertood and to understand.But you are not, you are just here to push your views onto other people, most of whom don't really care what you think, me being one of them.

I agree with sally, seriously you should be a lot nicer, or at least voice your opinions to those who need them, not those who you 'believe' need them, because it may not occur to you, but it isn't your job to pass your judgement on us.
