trust me it hella dosent. lotion can hurt a bit and you have to really shut your eyes but it gets everything off but softening it and just wipe it off with soem toilet paper or a bad towel, (dont want black all over the towels) but srsly soap and water are shit for eyeliner.HelloKatie wrote:mel mixedtape wrote: as for getting the makeup off, i highly reccomend
1. put lotion on a cotton swab
2. swipe it across your eyelid, this should get most of it off
3. take a stridex pad and dab around to get the rest off
how bout no. lol
who puts lotion on their eyes?!
that's dangerous.
Just use soap and water.
trust me, it works.

Dude, it works for you.
You should try it with dark brown, I think it would compliment your face better.

What is the best way to keep your eyeliner and shadow from smearing or running? Because I tried this once with my eyeliner a little bit thinner, and it started smudging and smearing half way through the school day. I have some waterproof mascara and eyeliner, is this a good solution? What else would work.

I agree.
I mostly use a dark brown, or a mid-shade of brown instead of black because it goes better with my face and eyes. I have hazel eyes and I find it hard to get colors that go well. I normally use browns, golds, and greens.

Good tutorial!
(I think an "eye make up remover" is the best for washing it all off. Soap can easily dry out your skin and make it irritated. )
really? I thought it was easy.
Just looked at the pictures and got it instantly.
It looks good with my new haircut P:

no, you just use gentle, unscented, non-irritating lotion. it helps to get it most of it off, and if you accidentally get it in your eye, it won't hurt.
i read it in 17, and tried it. it works
my mommy told me to use vaseline. she said soap and water would dry out my eyes o.O

^^ THIS.
Vaseline gets it off well, keeps your skin moisturized, and doesn't harm you.
A wet washcloth and Vaseline is the best way.

After reading this I do this quiet a bit now, it's a cool look.
Cover Girl eye enhancers black eyeshadow works REALLY well, and you don't have to layer a lot.
