I've done this a few times before. You just have to make sure your lifting the edges of the eyeshadow up.
Also the best way to take shadow and Mascara/Eyeliner off is Vaseline.
For Mascara, take a damp wash cloth and rub your eyelashes GENTLY (Note; This does not work on waterproof), then take the vaseline, and rub some on your eyes on top of the make up.
Take your wet washcloth and wipe it off.
It works for me

Just one problem:
How the hale are you supposed to line once the mascara is on?
The top, for example - you can't exactly put your finger on your top lashes to keep your eye closed so you can apply the liner. And applying top liner to an open eye is difficult.

I think there's too much under the eyes. You should swap it with above your eyes.
