This has to be the stupidest thread I've seen in a long, long time.

First of all; your NOT EMO!

you can't be emo, it's just impossible, because you can't be 'emotive hardcore' because it's a genre of music.

go ahead, tell your parents your a genre of music, but then they might still think your going crazy. and why would you tell them anyway? It's not like telling your parents your gay, theres no point.

obviously people aren't really getting this seeing as how many people seriously responded with acctually suggestions for a non-exsistent problem, and I wouldn't even be posting this if not for the fact this thread has been brought up so many times. just let it die.

well there's a lot of different aspects to your problem:

1) Does she know what emo is? If so, how does she feel about it?

2) Have you just suddenly realized this? Good god, you sound like Jesus just came up to you and said, "Whatsyerface, you are emo, and there's no running away from it." Chill.
