I became "emo" because I hate everyone and everything in the Multiverse because of what they've reduced me to....

Well, i dont think i actually 'turned' emo. ive just never fitted in with anyone else and i just like the music and fashion and being able to talk to people who understand what im feeling and who dont shun me or anything.

Well, I was always trying to fit in, but everyone always hated me. So I became a non-conformer, and I found about the scene trend.
my deviantART!!!
Why do we go o sites like emobucket? Because we want a bit of rest from the rest of the society who won't accept us because we're unique? Well, if that's why, then I'm much more happier being a pathetic scene, than a mindless conformer clone.

Same here really, i listened to some what i supose would be stereotyped as emo music, took some notice of the emo crowd at school and realised it all made sense...so i did it and turned emo snd now its like ive found who i really am....i was lost before and just didnt fit in...now i know who i am, if that makes sense...

fairyboy wrote: well tbh i sorta already was, its hard to explain, the thing that is now seen as emo is kinda taken from bits of stuff that was already around, like the whole emo music thing is basically just a heavier twist on pop-punk mixed with some elements of Skate rock and Post-Hardcore (although im this was like in the late 80's or sumit like that apparently and im not gona deny that for al you know it alls out there). I happened to be a big fan of skatrock post-hardcore and pop-punk anyway so that helped.
But when this sudden craze of skinny jeans, stripes and big fringes with bright coloured bits came in I was kinda already there without meaning to be, and i decided i liked it, for once i fitted in with a crowd, even if it was the crowd that were purposely trying not to fit in =p so i jus stuck with it, and then i became gradually more emo cos i finally had a style to work to as aposed to before when i kinda just had my own little mesh of being a skater-punk type and some kind of pop-punk loving outcast.
Plus why not be emo, i mean no1 here can deny that tbh, its the ace-est style going! i mean Emos are almost always good looking, emo music rocks, and i can still walk round with a skateboard without looking out of place =p
Please don't tell me that you're honestly nineteen, and you still believe in the whole, "emo" label.

can you really tell what turned you emo... i mean it happens like everything else in life doesnt it.... i mean its not like a class you decide to take in an instant...
me well... ive been emo since pretty much all my life... ive always felt alone, depressed, crazy, etc. i mean i never really was friends with anybody [[until i found my emo buds]] i never really fit in.. i still kinda dont... i dont think i ever really will.... ive always listened to metal... and a lil bit of scremo.... some alternative rock... ect...
now im like a bubbly emo that always draws toast on her hands along with broken hearts and razor blades, who always stands up on the tables at lunch and screams untill someone gives her a penguin that quacks, who likes to take pictures of herself making coppies of her face using a copy machine, who is almost compleatly random in everyway, who also likes to go home, silence everything with music, turn off the lights, sink in all my problems and cut myself.... so yea...
