How did I become emo?
i guess with getting depression from my father leaving when i was in kinder garden and all the other stuff I've had to put up with in my life. but before my father left i was a cheerful little kid sometimes i wish i could go back to being one. =(

To be honest, I came over from the dark side. I used to be super gothic, kinda like super woman, but instead of saving the world you want to KILL EVERYONE!!! *calms down*
Anyway, the emo style started more popularly emerging and I was like "hey, I likes me some emo boys . . . and some emo hair . . . and some Converse . . . and the music is so much better than the bands I've been listening to". Then I clicked my heals three times and magically transformed.

Yeah, it went something like that.

I became emo when I dicovered that I didn't fit in with the girly girls or anyone else. I wasn't one of the giggling bitches or smoking rebals or like anything in my school. I met some emos at a party I went to and we talked and really understood each other. I realised that I was like them, I believed what they believed. I went shopping with them to get some stuff to match my new style. Noone at school came anywhere near me because they thought I was a freak with problems. I just ignored them and made some new friends. Ever since then I've been emo and hey, I fucking love it.

i cant remember exactly wen i became emo, but i remember how.
i admit, i used to be a poor helples soul, trying to fit in and be cool/gangsta. once i finaly gave it up, i just started doing my own thing. i rediscoverd the heavenly sound of rock, wore clothes that beter fit my personality (dark/morbid/depresing) then some1 asked if i was emo. i didnt know how to answer. i thot emos were al cutters (sry, i was young and naive). then i started hanging out with emos and now im a proud emo!

i can understand how depressing it can be when someone close to you leves or dies but turning emo from being dumped???

if you get depressed by that, you would never survive being me.

When the moon is full...I begin my transformation into an angst ridden teen! I get a sudden urge to wear all black, and listen to crappy pop-punk, like Hawthorne Heights...

And then I wreak havoc when the clock strikes midnight, and I shout my shallow, poorly thought out poetry to the world, and make them deaf!

Yes, it hurts a lot, and may not make the most interesting life-changing story..

..though I doubt most of the people here have a "turning emo" [I disagree that one can "turn" to begin with] reason in the lines of "I was to confront my arch nemesis in battle, though he killed my one true love, and then laid waste to my entire hometown.. ..he then became hailed as ruler of the world"
