No, no, no you've got it all wrong.

Go into your system files, find file system32 and delete it.

Restart, and you're as good as new.

Yeah, don't do that.
You'd probably be lucky if your computer turned back on at all.

System restore, or put in the boot CD's and wipe everything
You could also, you know, run a virus scan, before deleting everything

Could be the power supply unit, too.

Or overheating
Or you overclocked the computer
There's 1000 things that could be wrong with it
Try running a virus scan, if nothing comes up system restore
If it still dosen't work, find a friend who's good with computers to tinker around with it for you
Computer repair shops are always an incredibly rip-off

Start > All Programs > System Tools > System Restore ( Try that first, it's the easiest, and if it doesn't work you can always restore it back to say today, just remember to create a backup for today )

Search around for the recovery disk that actually came with the computer ( If you didn't get one it may be worth buying one, they're not expensive )

Or, on start-up I think you press F8 or F11 to restore it back to factory settings.

Obviously before you restore it to factory settings, backup everything you have onto a floppy etc.

Unless you end up putting the virus onto the external
Then the whole thing is just an exercise in futility

Well if she knew where the virus was she could just remove it, rather than the system restore

If you haven't payed for anti-virus download avast or AVG
Or torrent any other and download a keygen (without downloading yet another virus)
