Help! My thread got locked!

Why do threads get locked?
It's a duplicate thread. (Accidental double post, redundant.)
It should not be posted on the forum. (Myspace: put it on your profile)
It's not in the right forum. (Non-serious topics in serious discussions.)
It's against the rules. (Contains Pornography, is directed against another user.)
What is spam?
Spam is something that is pointless. It serves no real purpose, and gets complained about by
the regular members of the forum.
How can I avoid spamming?
Put a little more thought into the threads you start.
Use "search forum" to see if there's anything similar already.
Try to make threads that will promote discussion.
