Ok lately i've noticed something. The people that make fun of emo/scene people are actually starting to wear emo/scene style clothes, hair, and makeup..plz tell me i'm not the only one noticing this..I'm not stereotyping or anything just i think it's funny...for people that hate us so much they sure do want to look and dress like us..

yh i've noticed even little things like heavy eyeliner used to be goth/emo/scene but no it's popular same as back combed hair which used to b scene but is now popular as well

People make fun of things that are different. But as soon as it stops being different, and starts becoming mainstream, they're not afraid anymore and their need to feel "cool" comes right back.

ya the girl who used to tell me my skinny jeans looked like crap last year came up saying wow we have the same jeans this year. the girl who used to say u need to wipe some of that eye liner off now starts wearing heavier and heavier and complimenting me on my eyes.

Yeah, one of my best friends wears girl jeans, band Ts and scarves, but he says he hates emo and scene.. hm... and when people call him emo he just laughs and tells them he wouldnt ever wanna be "some emo fuck."
Thing is, he's never had depression in his life. He's a really happy kid, so that might be part of the reason he doesnt want involvement with emo, or he just hates labels. But idk, he sure dresses the part.

Its not they don't like the style, most of the haters just hate the scene kid attitude that no one understands them and they wanna die. I agree however alot of scene kids aren't like that. You have to admit its pretty annoying.
