Layering it, and getting side-swept bangs would be great. You'll only really have to straighten your bangs when they're being unruly. But I think if you just keep it wavy it'll be gorgeous.

This really helped me. I've been trying to decide on a short hairstyle I can get on my birthday and haven't really seen many interesting ones until now. I like the rainbow hair, the cut I'd never be able to dye my hair like that.

my hair looks emo from the front, I have the generic emo girl short at the back long at the front haircut but what makes it different is I have an undercut, you can only tell at the sides reall but yeah, completely shaved underneath
this is what it looks like from the back (this was taken about a month ago though so it's longer now obviously), I'm gonna get it cut soon hopefully so it's really short at the back
I took this just now, it's what my undercut looks like from the side, surprisingly no one has made fun of me for it. I realise I look like a guy, that's a conscious effort.
