First Poem: Suicide (1)

My life is fading
My sight is failing
My blood is pouring
I look at your picture
I hear myself whimper
You wont see me in the morning

I've failed to die
I wonder why
It didnt work this time
So I continue to live
Carrying a load so big
Are my feelings such a crime

Again I see all red
My wrists are almost out-bled
And in my bed I am lying
White sheets stained
All I feel is pain
I know I am truely dying

I am descending
My wounds arent mending
Down to the depths of hell
My God looks down
On his face a frown
I retreat into my deathly shell

This was the first poem I wrote while I was experiencing depression, which lasted for 3 weeks. I wanted to end my life so badly, I was cutting my chest and wrists. My friends stood by me the entire time, I was seeing the school councilor several times a day, until I was recommended to see a doctor. I was on anti-depressants for 5 days, and I am yet to see a physiologist.

i'm not sure why....
i can relate to it.

i'm not crazy about the suicide theme
but this has potential.

yeah im a christian, so depression threw me off for a while
i known suicide isnt the right way, but hey, we dont think straight sometimes.

i'm a christian too.
i get the whole suicide thing.
been there.
i hate to dwell in the past though.
