There is no way to completely rid yourself of them. The sheer physical makeup of them is different than skin. You can try to make them less visible with creams. Look for scar cream in your local pharmacy. I honestly can't remember the name of the cream right now.
Keloids are different. you may have to have those medically removed.

I'm glad! I didn't have info like this available to me when I was in my worst streak, so I hope it helps other people before it gets bad as I wish it had for me.

Very good. Although I think you should get rid of the stuff about cutting. The part talking about using new ones each time. It should describe it in a better way like 'Sharing and reusing blades can cause infection' instead of 'use a new one each time'.
Just a thought.
I can see cutters using this in a bad way instead of trying to help themselves.

Instead of using a new blade each time, would it be okay if I just sterilized the blade by boiling it? D:
I don't have the money to buy new.

I thought this was a guide on how to cut safely.
Cutting is my only way to deal with things right now, and I don't really plan on stopping.

No, it's injury guide.
And sorry to be so blunt, but your really stupid.
Cutting solves nothing, and your a weak person for thinking that is your only option. There are lots of ways to help, including just talking with people (even online).

Ah, okay.
As for the part about me being stupid... Thanks, I get that a lot.
Cutting dosen't solve anything, you're right, but it's all I have right now.
And I do think I know more about my options than you do, seeing as how it's my life.

Obviously not because I know people that have much more worse problems than you and have dealt with them in healthy ways. Your options aren't 'limited' either, they are all there and they can call work for you.
My guess is that you don't have enough courage to get through your problems.
I put it so bluntly, because I know your a young adult who is smart enough not to cut.

I'm sure you know many people with worse problems than mine, but that doesn’t really matter. I don't base my actions off others.
And yes, my options are quite limited. And I feel, and honestly believe, cutting is my one option that works.
Again sir, you're right.
I don't confront my issues in fear on opening old scars, so to speak.
And you have no reason to defend your bluntness, I appreciate that you are being completely honest in what you say.
Few people are honest these days.

ID has it right. It's not how to make your cutting a more permissible experience, but to minimize the damage. Boiling the blade will not help anything, especially when you consider the metal of the blade will begin to oxidize and break down, leading to a potential tetanus issue. I should amend that portion of the guide. Hmm. The reason why I said new blades though, is because it will be at it's sharpest and will cut, not tear, the skin and potentially leave less damage.
