final fantasy

I have seen final fantasy clips on Youtube and love it!!! But what exactly is it? A movie or a game? Where can I find it. Oh, please do tell me.

Oh my god. Don't get me started on Final Fantasy or we would be here for days. I wouldn't stop talking.

They made a film about it in like 2000 I think, it was ridiculous though, do not watch it, it showed nothing about what actually happens in it.

Final Fantasy is a gaming franchise by Square, now Square-Enix.
There was;
Final Fantasy I
Final Fantasy I
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy VI

However, now is when the franchise actually got mega - attention, with the introduction off...

Final Fantasy VII ( Best game ever, you NEED to get this one )
Final Fantasy VIII ( Another quality game )
Final Fantasy IX ( I preffered this one to VIII, it goes back to more cartoon like graphics )
Final Fantasy X ( First one on the PS2, actually using speech )

Those are the main games that actually have huge attention, but i'm only stating the games that are on Playstation / Playstation 2, there are numerous other games on different consoles.

There's also Final Fantasy XI ( Online ) and XII.
As well as numerous spin-offs;
Final Fantasy X-2 - A spin-off off X, mainly with the girls from X, is an alright game.
Final Fantasy VII - Dirge Of Cerberus - follows the life off one character from VII, Vincent Valentine, it's also an awesome game.

The main two films based on the series are;

Final Fantasy VII; Advent Children ( Based 2 years after the events off VII, an awesome film )
And a more complete version of the above, Final Fantasy VII; Advent Children Complete ( ACC )

You can get the major games;

VII, VIII, IX, X On ebay for no more than £20 each, well worth it, you'd have hundreds of hours of gameplay, and still have plenty more to do to completely complete the game, but it would still leave you hanging to just start the game again.

I knew there were a lot of them. I know i love animation videos and fantasy stuff like that. It isn't fair though why can't real life men look like that

Zack is my favorite. I cried when I found an angels ont the moon music video and found out that he died!!! Does he come back to life some way? Oh, now he is a good one. This is kind of random, but would you know any way to keep my hair straight after I have straightened it? It wants to wave again.

You, my good sir, are wrong in some aspects.
True, IX and X are great, and IX is my favorite, but VII and VIII are my least two favorite of all the series, ever.
They aren't just the decent ones either, every single final fantasy is an amazing piece of work, including it's orcastrational music work, to their amazing combat system, story lines, and etc.
By far, Final Fantasy III, or technically VI, is one of the best ever created. A compelling story which shys in comparrison to both VII and VIII combined.
Honestly, play them all. They are all different in their own aspect, and all great in that aspect. I just like others more than some =]
P.S. play tactics, but just the one on the PS1, the ones on the GBA aren't that good.

I have played VI, i've also played tactics, and Crisis Core, and Crystal Chronicles, i'm simply stating, VII, VIII, IX And X are the most decent based on media hype. Even in graphic terms, they're much better than VI, and III, and i'm fairly certain many more people would prefer to play the ones i've stated. What you've said is YOUR opinion, i'm however basing my argument on the majority of FF gamers, who would also generally agree with me, especially with FFVII.

You're also relatively wrong with the "To their combat system" because, the majority of FF gamers again, were highly let down by XII's battle system, and wished it had gone back to the roots of VII or VIII.

Don't get FFVII.

I made that mistake, the reason it's so popular is because it had one of the best storylines of all of the Final Fantasy games. It's no fun when you already know the whole storyline because it's been repeated so many times. I WANT MY $50 back!!!!

FFIV, FFX, and FFXII are all awesome though.

I've always wanted to get really stuck into the games
But I thought I would need to start at number one
Do they al have different storylines/characters or are they all the same?

Mostly all have unique characters and story lines, but they are always a constant reoccuring element in just about every game, Crystals. For some reason, the creators always like to bring the theme of crystals back into most of the franchises, or objects that are very similar to crystals. Some of the worlds also reoccur, but in different timelines. Like Ivalice from FFT.

I like Final Fantasy Vll and Final Fantasy Xll best.
It keeps me ocupied for awhile.

I agree VII & VII are the best, but also they brought FF to the mainstream.

The first Final Fantasy game I ever played was Final Fantasy X. I loved that game.

I want to play the others but I don't have a TV anymore and no game system. =/
