Depending on your number of posts, you'll have a title near your names

0-10: registered
10-40: fresh meat
40-100: almost emo
100-200: poser
200-400: scene kid
400-600: emoXcore
600-900: hXc
900+: you get to enter your own (will appear on edit profile)

Karma on a forum is like popularity.
If you like what someone posted then you click +
If you do not like what someone posted you click -
You leave a message to them why you're giving them karma and click submit.
For a (currently unknown) period of time your karma will be suspended after administering any to fellow members.
To see your karma messages click "no new karma" between in the gray bar at the top of the page.

You can not regulate your own karma directly, you can only control other peoples and they can control yours.
This is basically how it works. Obviously you can't judge everyone by their karma though.

Spam is a topic that:
Has been repeated
Advertises for other websites
Addresses a specific forum member
Does not give significant potential for discussion (pointless topics or lacking substance)



If you would like to make a post of that nature use this thread:
"Attention talk here!" or send a PM to someone you wish to address directly.

If you do not know whether a topic has been repeated or not use the search function.
If your search results have not been replied to in 2 months or more it may be appropriate to start a new topic.
If the topic is in "Help and Advice" do not reply if it is more than a month old unless it is stickied.

It is suggested that you memorize this section in particular to avoid difficulties.

Place your pictures in the correct albums.
The content you upload should match the description title.
If it's in the wrong album expect it to be deleted.
Make your own album for your personal pictures that do not fit in any public album.

Look at the galleries before you upload.

Pictures are subject to deletion without notice.
For the following content:
Repeat uploads
Nudity
Obscenity
Violence
Self mutilation
Illegal substances

You maybe given 1 warning or you may be banned on the spot.

If you are having problems loading your picture read the error message.
Uploads directly from your PC are sometimes more successful than uploads from URLs.

Your files must be in the following formats:
JPG
JPEG
GIF
PNG

BMPs will not work

If your file does not upload correctly you may have to re-size your picture to a smaller file size.
Or there is a chance that it was deleted due to it's content as listed above.

You can re-size your pictures on photobucket in their edit options
or in the basic "Paint" program you have on your computer.
If you're having difficulties read Xenomorph's HTML guide for signatures and avatars.
Then try to figure it out for yourself. It's not difficult.

To report a post:
Click the "!" (exclamation point) button at the top of the post you need to report.
Only report posts that violate the terms of service or forum rules.

Contact a specific moderator or admin via private messaging or leaving a comment on their profile.

You can't. Remove all personal content and discontinue use.

Be socially active by posting on the forum frequently.
You can add someone to your friend list by clicking the link on their profile.
Some users have chosen to remove this feature from their profile by editing their CSS code.
Your friends will not appear on your friends list on your profile
Also, you can't search for specific people. There is no user search/list etc. You just have to click on their user name when you see it.

Realize it. People lie.

If you have a fake profile don't come to the mods crying when someone calls you on it.
Fakes are usually easy to spot.

Fakes usually have:
-really good quality photos
-a "perfect" hairstyle, complexion etc.
-been faked on dozens of other sites
-tons of random friend adds.
-incorrect info about the person they're pretending to be
-water marks on their pictures or names of other sites
-frequent posts in the "rate my picture"/"hug, kiss or sex" threads. or TONS of profile comments

If you want to pretend that you're Kiki Cannibal fine whatever. I really don't care. Just don't cuss people out when they say something like "I know that's not your real picture" because you know it isn't. And when you cuss people out for stating the obvious it only makes you look silly.

The only time action will be taken against someone for being fake is when the owner of the picture requests that it be take it down.

when you click "edit my profile" in the tool bar at the top, the CSS code goes in the "Custom CSS" box.

Here is how you put a playlist in your profile:

And click the link, which brings you to this. You need to click on the last option, "Get code for any other social network..." There are a couple of short, self-explanatory steps here. Once you click "get code" at the end, it gives you this:



See that part that's highlighted? You need to copy all of the text in between the quotation marks on that line.

Go to edit your profile, then to profile information. Paste in the link and put in the tags around it that are shown in the first post. Should look something like this:



Scroll down, save it, and you're done.
