I started college(english) four weeks ago and pretty much straight away this boy, i'll call him mike, decided he wanted to go out with me* i said no, because...
1) i wasn't looking/ready for a boyfriend after what had happened previously
2) i have trust issues
i told him about the former and he was ok with it, only as the weeks progressed i came to like/trust mike as a friend so i confided in him about my past.
Recently i found out that he told someone in my class who then told more people.
What should i do?
do i confront mike or do i just not talk to him and go back into my untrusting shell?

*after all this happened he texted me saying, 'i hear you fancy someone else and not me, do i stand a chance with you if i asked you out?

If you told him to not tell anyone what you said, I think you should confront him. It's never okay to spread secrets.
Confront him and then ignore him.

you should ask him waht was up with that? you told him not to tell anyone and he wants to go out with you. tell him that was a shit way of showing it. and then see what he has to say to that.
