I hate the fact that these ignorants ask if Emo slash their wrists... Because most of the times their question is asked in a sarcastic way.
Emos aren't the only to cut their wrists... I mean, not all of them do... Any normal person with problems that feel like cutting will cut... Goths cut, punks cut, damn it even rap dudes would cut, hipsters cut, preps cut even more (note sarcasm)

Everyone is emotional this time or another... every human being is emo.. even though the real meaning of emo is emotive hardcore and it goes for the music genre. You, we, scene people are misjudged a lot. If you cut, means you are a freaking snobbish kid that wants some attention.

i agree to what you said. its like, people around my community blames emo for kids who slashed their wrist. i found out that they slashed for pleasure and some even for the name of emo. i really get pissed off when they slashed for pleasure.
i look at it as a stupid act. i prefered crying or screaming. it helps even better than losing blood. crying is my best way of showing my emotions. for kids who slashed to be a "perfect emo" i shall sayperfection isnt everything.

I think that's being very stereotypical, well it is if you're assuming that "emo's" slash their wrists. Some emos don't. But then there are many that do. There are also kids, who are just your mediocre person who will slit their wrists too.
It all depends on the person.

But personally, I used to all the time. But it's been 155 days since my lat cut .

Well, I was on this website, and I would say hi to all the new member's welcoming them to the site and whatnot. Then I messaged this one guy and he messaged me back saying "omfg, you are so ugly. Why the hell are you talking to me you fatty?" I was really hurt and I swore that I would never say hi to any new members ever again.
But then about an hour later I saw this user name, and the user name is the name of my all time favorite song, so I decided to message him. I said hey, welcome and I'm Shay. Check out my page. Then we started talking, he said "ohmygosh, you are absolutely beautiful." We started talking for weeks and weeks and then he asked me out . We became extremely close before he asked me out . It just so happened that the night I was welcoming people that he made that new user name. I told him that everything happens for a reason and I said, if you didn't make a new user name, then we would have never of met. He said "Shay, my baby girl, I would have made sure that we would have met, no matter what." Then he said "I'm glad that you didn't give up that night."
