well it always puzzled me as to whether or not black people could be emo. do u think they can be? why or why not?

why would it make a difference?
ive met a lot of african american emos, and they were all definitely emo

Well... I'm black... and I'm emo... emo/scene is a MULTI-RACE fashion/music thingy. You can be any colour to be scene, just like you can be any colour to be any other stereotype (apart from the racist ones). If someone said to me that black people can't be emo, I'd slap em' in the face.

all this time u were on this forum I always saw u as an emokid. I never knew u were black and I don't really care now that I know.

Thanks bunches.I get asked this question alot...And I guess I don't fit in...It just that I'm always getting asked why I dress this way, or what music do you listen to, or those occasional glances from black kids in my school hallways..Sometimes I'll glare back at them xD, but mostly I just keep walking. Okay, so most of my friends are white...So what? I get along with them better, or we have more in common. Y'know, THINGS FRIENDS DO. It all started awhile ago when I said "Chris Brown,Bow Wow, Lil Romeo, etc are not good looking." My opinion. Ash Ketchum and Ryan Ross are extremely good looking xD And of course Sasuke-kun. Back on subject, People can be whatever they wanna be, expectations or thoughts of a skin color are not limits.
