collapse your lungs

collapse your lungs

This won't be thee end
I've held on far to long
Remembering all the things I've said, trailing off in sentence
Your words so careless and slow
Troubled time and time again
A constant reminder of a broken past

So open up your heart
I've just got to get out
And finding my own way
Has never been so hard

Pray for the warm sun
Pray for a compromise
Hold out your hands kid; there's nothing left to hide
And without trust there is no love
His hands will separate us
A confrontation with your leggings, just take it off

This conversation
Was over as soon as you came in
Hold tight your rosary
Closely clutched to your chest
