Anyway, Xenomorph nailed it, and personally I'm sick of this religious bashing and hate because people can't get over a choice they made when they know the consequences[/i]
And it still goes on even without regarding homosexuals. Religious bashing is like, rampart in our society. People learn what the know about religions from popular television and the Internet. Instead of forming their own views, they just go off of what is popular and accepted instead of delving into their hearts and actually figuring it out. They are more comfortable not knowing and caring, because they don't want to take the risk of being wrong, or shunned by others. And in the end, at their death bed, they'll finally commit.
Of course. Religious bashing is like this freakishly widely accepted thing that society is doing now. People are aiming to take down or destroy religion, or at least put it on a much lower plain than everything else so that all moral and valuable things can be made into only social issues in which they can easily manipulate.
People find reasons to hate religion now, or simply because family is too onto them or people trying to shove it down their throats. This doesn't mean you should hate it but rather when out on your own you may choose what to do with religion again.
Religion is actually important in the sense it makes you think before you do, teaches you to be a better person, how you should treat others only how you wish to be treated, and shows you why to respect morals and values.
And yes, it's sad that most people commit only when on their death beds, because somehow it only matters then and they only believe then, likely out of being scared and not knowing what's next. If they were that worried the should've picked it up earlier.
