the only things I can cook are steak, and mac'n'cheese (sorta, it gets burned or goes weird) from a packet. Oh and I can also make welsh rarebit... but I can't live on steak, mac'n'cheese and cheese on toast.
Can anyone give me some really simple recipes, stuff thats really easy and doesn't cost much to make?
If you post a good recipe I will add it to:

you peel potatoes, cut them into cubes/slices (whatever ud like), then throw them into a pot. Put it on high, and let them stay in for about 20min. Use a butterknife to cut through a few, if it goes through real easy they're done. Use a caulindar to drain them, then put into a mixer. Mix them up, and put in milk (carefully, too much and they'll be all watery) until they're the texture you want. Put in some butter, and seasoned salt.

Buy one of those mini barbecues you can take anywhere. [Make sure you get all the essential parts and accessories]
Buy any meat you like. Try things out for the first time cause it's funner that way. I like Chicken breast for example.
Get a bunch of sauces and spices that you might like to put on the chicken. [Make sure you have one of those brush thingies to slab the sauce on.]
Stick the chicken on the barbecue, wait a while, flip, wait, flip, poke, test, and eat!
Yayy :] You have a barbecue.

you gotta use thick slices of crusty bread x 2, mix an egg, some creme fraishe and some mustard powder. add grated cheese x lots and salt'n'pepper. toast the bread a bit, spread with chilli jam/sauce, add the eggy/cheesy mix and grill. add a bit of Worcestershire sauce and eat.

2 cups of water
1 teaspoon instant chicken broth
1 1/2 tablespoon of rice
1/2 lemon
yellow of one egg
pinch of sugar
- boil water, take down from flame, put in instand broth, boil again
- reduce heat (to 1/2?) put rice in, let it soak for 15 minutes
- press out the lemon juice, mix it in a warm plate with yellow of egg
- season soup to taste with sugar and maybe salt
- put soup in plate and immediately stir with egg/juice
It's soup, but it's still refreshing.
Insalata Caprese
