i always wondered if black people can be emo... i know i sound stupid but it always puzzled me i have never seen any black emos, goths, scene kids or anything. and for some reson if they do say im emo they look hip hop inspered.
PS: i am NOT racist i am really just woundering if black people can be emo.

It usually stems from your background. If you grew up with people that listened to rock music then you would usually get into the same stuff they do. That's probably why I'm so fucked mentally and musically 
I'm more of a skater / gangster who dresses like a scene kid whenever he feels like it.
But yea, if a black person were to grow up around those that listened to "emo" music then he'd dress like everyone else.

background is not the thing.I live where half of the people listen to rap and the other half like folk music(UGH!).it only matters how the person feels like and how he/she sees the world.if someone is sorounded by emo scene kids doesn't mean that he has to be one of them, and also if no one is "emo" where you live,you still can be emo scene nomather if you're black or white or even fucking purple!
