Be True To Yourself (The anti-conformity rant) By Taylor

by mcr666 on 10-10-2008 9:28 am

I've never considered myself one way or the other. I just wear what I want to wear and listen to what i want to listen to, which is a whole range or Genres.

Where's my "cutting is not emo" notivator? brb

That's called individualism, not being emo. Not caring what people think of you is called confidence.

i think this is pretty much true.but its hard 4 me to b accepted.i get along wif all clichs and then 1 clich want me to hate this person and so on.so i picked 1 clich the 1 that had the least amout of drama and confrontation cuz i hate talkin to ppl.so wat u say is true for some ppl but not all ppl. I likes it.
My best friend (a guy) wore a dress and full make up once.
It was for a play we did, but still.

Not only was this post extremely long, it was extremely true. I used to dress all 'ghetto' with the 3 sizes too big pants and shirts. I felt like such a d*ck cus I'm not 'ghetto' or gangster at all. And people may call me a poser or what-not but i really don't give a shit. I love the style, and i feel very comfortable wearing these clothes. I've said before, I'm not what people call "emo" I'm a scene style person. Major kudos on the post. It should be enough to get through the hard-headed or better yet the WEAK-MINDED.

We got new thoughts, new ideas it's all so groovy
It's just a shame that we all seen the same old movies

And now you think that you got a first in fashion
New uniforms we all look the same
A new vogue for the now generation
A new profit in the same old game
