B yourself or fit in with non scene friends?

B yourself or fit in with non scene friends?

by colorfulemochick on 04-10-2009 10:55 pm

I don't dress scene at all. Personally I don't think u have 2 dress scene to be emo, as long as you b yourself. Do u agree or think that's BS? I thought about dressing in all my rainbow stuff and tutus but I don't think I would fit in.Do u think my friends would still like me if I dressed differentally? The rainbow stuff is me but I'm worried that noone would b my friend if I was different. Should I break away from the pack of nonscenes and b myself or stick with the other stuff I wear?

i understand what colorfulemochick means.

in MY school its easy to see who the "scene" kids are.
none of them call themselves emo but everyone else does.
they are a fan of catagories though. one calls herself retro punk.
people use emo not to comment on their clothes but their identity in the school.
to people here emo doesnt mean music at all.
scene doesnt mean anything at all. its just a 5 letter word out media teachers use.

at my school alot of them are starting to wear ALOT of colourful clothes.
its kind of kewl. the way to stick to the same identity as them depends on how your wearing there colours.
shoes: convers comes in plenty of colours.
skinny jeans at places like jayjays come in colours like red green etc etc
shirts yeah are easy enough to find
and there are plenty of accesories.
all these clothes look scene enough but none have to be just black!!!

and KK should stop the interogation. if you dont like the conversation then dont antagonise people.

good luck! dress however you are on the inside

Wow...First, learn to use proper English.

Second,
WHAT.
THE.
FUCK!?

Since when has it been a good idea to do something just to please others?
Ugh...what the hell.
This is seriously pissing me off.
Look, not everyone will like what you wear, what you look like, or what you do.
You need to do what makes you happy [and that your parents allow] and fuck anyone who gives a damn.

If someone is going to be your friend based on what you look like or how you dress, do you really think they'd be that good of a friend?
Trust me, NO.

wear what you want.
as long as you like yourself and your own style, that's what matters.
true friends don't judge based on your fashion sense.

Hey, if people were only friends with other people coz of the way they look, then I'd have no friends at all.
