Are modern humans weak?

Indeed, people are far too lazy. Last week I was having dinner at my friends house, and his little 12 yr old brother asked his mother to cut his own food for him. We're not just lazy, but also can't rely on ourselves because we believe the older generation or AI can do it for us.
We are all gradually growing weaker as new technologies are created. Our grandparents were stronger than us at our age, and their parents were stronger than them and so forth.

most birth related deaths were from infection. as in, if anyone interfered (attempted to help) with the birth. animals have no assistance, and they dont have the death rate that humans have

Yes they do. Cows and sheep often need help while given birth. And the ones that aren't gotten to in time/ can't be helped die. It's a regular occurrence on a farm.
what about undomesticated animals?
and the problems with the domesticated ones are due to the breeding and domestication, such as trying to breed animals that have multiple births more often than occurs naturally.
also, i have cousins who have a farm, they never have problems with their sheep giving birth.. so i dont think its overly comparable.

Your statement wasn't about undomesticated animals, it's was about animals in general.

I'm pretty sure that your thoughts on the rate of successful births by animals and our ancestors are a little out of wack. Plus, there are plenty of women now that don't need anesthetics or doctors at all. They just have their baby at their house. It is physically possible, we just don't want to. We want the comfort of knowing that the baby and ourselves will have a better chance in a sterilized room with professionals. There's more women in the world now, which means more women that can't give birth well, and would've died back then. But now we can save them using non-natural forms of birth.

In reality, anesthesia is more likely to be bad. When my mum had me she used anesthesia and she almost died because she couldn't feel that she was pushing out most of her blood, and multiple other bad things. And the fact that the insurance company/hospital doesn't allow giving blood to women after birth, even if they're on the brink of death. Or keeping her there longer, so she had to go home and lay on the couch, eating as much stuff as she can so she would get her strength back.

Well, that was an unnecessary story but... <.<

We're not weak, we're lazy. If we suddenly got put in ancient times again, we'd have the same strength again. We're just not using our muscles.

Edit- and humans are pack animals, so I doubt that all the women birthed alone.

Blame the technology.
Modern day technology has made life easier thus making such things as work ethic not needed as our computers do all the thinking for us. We simply either give orders or click buttons to then reinforce orders.

Were lazy and we dont do as much, youre right. The technology lessened our work.
But I think the birth part is wrong.

this. and that also helps us in being more lazy.

In the past a pregnant woman would work in the fields right up until she gave birth, which she would do before going back to work.
they now use pain killers and opt for cesareans rather than giving birth naturally.

C-sections are done in emergency more than by choice, granted some women do it by choice rather than natural because it's less work/less pain. C-sections are often done if the woman and/or baby are at risk of dying or some other complication during natural. My opinion? C-sections haven't always been around, it's a fairly new thing. If the baby is going to die without having a C-section, then is that a sign that maybe the baby shouldn't be born? Maybe it's natures way of saying, "this shouldn't happen" but doctors once again feel the need to "play God" and make something happen that maybe shouldn't.

Is modern man weak?

In the past man did physical work from sun up to sun down, with barely any time to put into intellectual pursuits.
He could build a house, a barn and plow the fields
hed go to battle and suffer horrific wounds, and still survive, go home and go back to work.

Put a type writer and a computer in front of modern man. Which do you think he will choose?
People complain about how hard things are, I'd love to see them go back to even a few decades ago and see how things were. Technology has made man lazy. You don't see animals sitting in comfy air conditioned offices on the top floor drinking coffee in an Armani suit do you? Or going out to eat at the finest restaurant around? Animals don't use technology, and they live basically the same way they did long ago. They still hunt to survive, protect their families, among other things.

Technology was supposed to be one of those things to make life easier, and better, and further along humanity.
If anything it's destroying what people worked so hard and so long for, years and years ago.
and the worst part is, most people see how they're destroyed humanity/earth, but they have the "I won't be around to reap what I've done. I can fuck up now, and it won't have any impact on me."

Physically because we have fattier, unnatural food for us to eat.
Mentally co-insides with the physical.
Our brain muscles get less use.

So yes, we are weaker.

We are not weak.We humans are still capable to doing that but modern humans have relied to heavily on technology. We are constantly looking for the easier way out of a hole because most of us want to get more out of it with less effort. This is how we humans have evolve.
Knowing too much has it's disadvantages too

We're not weaker, we're just smarter.

Using your example of childbirth;
Why should the women have to suffer the pain when she doesn't have to?

A women today, if we didn't have the technology, could still give birth naturally, so surely she's just as strong as people who had to do in the past, but smarter in the sense she's avoiding the pain?

O,o

Atsuma:
Yes, knowledge does make it convenient, but when is the last time you had to do LABOR for your food? Pick the crops? Process things? Make your clothes?
It makes us lazy, and physically less fit.
We replace things like cooking with computers, things like plays and musicals with TV.
Hell, we watch presidential addresses online, we do SCHOOL on the computer, just to fry our brains a little bit more.
Our generation is always saying they are bored, it's because life is soft.
We pity everyone living in poverty, when, what poor people have, used to be the norm.
Their version of poor was dead.
No one builds their own house, half of the people in the world can't defend themselves from attack.
It's completely dumb.
