Theres no real way to make your hair grow longer, just take care of it and use conditioner. Don't pull your hair or do anything to damage it. Uhm.. protein might help I think, because hai is made of prtein, so it's possible that it'd grow faster if you ate more, but it's just a suggestion.

I think that is just an old wives tale. Because hair doesn't grow at the ends...it grows from the root. But don't worry, I used to believe it to. I bet the hair cutters would like us to think that cutting our hair makes it grow faster!!! CONSPIRACY!!!

Cutting your hair might work.
You know how when you shave whatever part of your body...It doesn't get rid of the roots ahd then the hair comes back twice as long/thick.
So maybe just cutting hair at the ends might work...
WHO KNOWS!!!

That's actually not true. Even though it's considered to be conventional wisdom, shaving does not make your hair grow out thicker or longer or anything like that, not on any body part. The resulting stubble only makes the hairs seem to be thicker, as a shaved hair has a blunt end as opposed to the tapered end of an unshaven hair, and because hair is often darker in color near the root. Yep, clinical studies has proven this.
So.. no, I don't think cutting it would help ;P
