i used to have a crush on this girl.
but we decided to be friends because she didn't share the feelings.
anyway, today i found out that she had been pretending to be friends with me the whole time.
everyone tells me that she says behind my back that she really doesn't like me and she doesn't want to be friends with me. And the other day i stopped to say hey to her for a sec, and she was like "aren't you supposed to be going to your class?"
my only guess is that i've been trying too hard to earn her friendship.
it's obvious to her, and that's why she always felt akward around me, and eventually she just got annoyed with me.
is it just me? or do girls just act weird like that sometimes?
should i talk to her about it?
advice anyone?

I'm sorry for you. Yes there are weird girls like that. I don't know why she agreed to it to start with... going out with someone you don't even like just seems like leading the person on. It's wrong.

.. that really sucks.
There's really nothing I can say
To make you feel better.. but
In my opinion, from personal experience
..try not talking to her for a little bit
She might then realize that you dont need her,
And maybe she'll come to you, instead of you
Going to her.. she might even realize how good
Of a friend you are to her..

that's the best advice i've heard so far.
the only problem is, i've already shown her my weak side. is it too late to show her that i can be strong and forget about her?

Nope! ..anyone can be strong at anytime.
Doesnt matter if you've shown her your
Weak side, all the more reason to be strong
And show her you dont need her. If she thinks your weak
And you prove her wrong, that you can be
Strong more then weak.. shes more likely to
Change her mind

okay so, update on the situation.
we just went on a huge trip with our class and she was there, but we didn't really talk the entire time.
oddly enough, she started talking to me again after the trip.
but then a few days later she just seems to ignore me again.
anyway i'm now friends with two of her close friends, but i still can't seem to get her to change her mind about me.
it's pretty much my fault from the start for being too clingy, now she doesn't want anything to do with me.

She could be avoiding you for being way to clingy, but its her fault for being so short with you and not just simply saying kindly. "Your being a bit clingy." I mean, if she is acting that way aren't you better off? Just don't be as clingy, and once in awhile, if you pass her in the halls just say a brief hi, and keep walking. Show her that you can be not clingy.
