A red september
Stitches can't mend it back together. He left my heart in pieces forever. He walked away and said goodbye. He left me there, wanting to die. He said I'd get over him, find another, be happy again. I wasn't ready to lose my lover, to replace him with another. He was the reason for my life. He's the reason I'm sitting here with a knife. As I watch the streaks of red, memories of us run through my head. Tears run down my cheeks and join the smears. I can't take the pain I get from remembering a time when we were together. A few more red tears and I'll be a memory, my fears wash away with the pulse of my heart. You and she can be happy together, and I'll be the girl you dont want to remember. The knife is shaking, my hands are cold. No more lies, no more faking. Your act is old, and I can't take it. Tomorrow you'll read this and you'll cry. This is my way to say goodbye. Next time you think of me you'll think of our life, a knife, tears, and a red September. It won't be easy to remember.
