Ok...
So I want to dye my hair black. My mom claims that with the color it is now (it's not that dark like in my avatar, I'm just in the light so I look insanely pale, and that makes it look soooo much darker) if I colored it black it would turn out really funky. Would it?

It wouldn't turn out weird if you did it right.It might make you look really pale but thats it.If you don't want it to look weird go to a profesional and they will probably do a good job.I hope I helped!=]

But, I want to put purple in it afterward. Dad said I could get purple, I'm holding him to that =]
I can't afford professional dying jobs XD But if I want the purple in it, I'd have to wait till after I put the purple in before I put the black in... right...?

the purple would go in after the black. after you've dyed it black, you have to bleach the section you want to be purple, then dye it.
